At Post 2591 we are always looking to grow and bring qualified veterans within our ranks. If you've ever thought about joining the VFW, Post 2591 needs YOU! We are a volunteer organization with a desire to support veterans, support our community, and support each other. If you're interested in joining our Post, please stop by our Post and please bring your Service Records with you. Any member of the Post will be happy to assist you! Below are a few of our goals for this year and we would love to have you as a part of our team (volunteer or member) to reach these goals.
Operation overcome
In an October meeting of 2022, a vote took place to sale our current location as an offer had been made from an outside investor. With overwhelming member support the vote was approved to sell our current buildings and to reopen at a new location due to our inability to financially restore our buildings at the pace in which the buildings require. We have now purchased a new property and we are in the process of getting the new location up to code and to a standard operating condition. We are very close and should reopen soon!
Post 2591 is always willing to accept volunteers to help with our events within the community. Your support is always greatly received and highly appreciated at our Post.
